Rahul Gandhi continues his attack from the Wayanad stage: ‘BJP destroyed Manipur; Congress will help build it.

Addressing the crowd as his family, Gandhi continued his attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi for barely touching upon Manipur during his address to the Lok Sabha, accusing him and the union cabinet ministers of having a 'lot of fun' during the discussion.

A day after Parliament’s Monsoon Session drew to a close, Rahul Gandhi hit the ground, visiting Wayanad, the first place he traveled to since being reinstated as an MP.

Addressing the crowd as his family, Gandhi continued his attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi for barely touching upon Manipur during his address to the Lok Sabha, accusing him and the union cabinet ministers of having a ‘lot of fun’ during the discussion.

The senior Congress leader also blamed the BJP for trying to divide India, like they had done in Manipur. “BJP aims at destroying families. India is a family, they want to divide it. Manipur was a family, they tried to destroy it. They destroy the relationship between people. We build, bring people together. We strengthen families. BJP thinks they have divided and destroyed Manipur. We will bring Manipur back together. It took you two months to burn Manipur. It might take us five years to bring back love to Manipur, but we will do it. This is the fight between the BJP and the Congreg, Manipur is rife with blood, murder, and rape. The PM spoke in Parliament for two hours and thirteen minutes, yet he barely touched on Manipur for two minutes. In reference to the Prime Minister's statement on Thursday following the no-confidence vote put up by the Opposition, Gandhi continued, "He (Modi) and his cabinet colleagues laughed and joked and grinned; they had a lot of fun.

Gandhi further stated that the BJP has extinguished Indian nationalism in Manipur. If there is violence, hatred, murder, or rape, that is not India." The idea of India embodies the idea of harmony among its people. In my speech to Parliament, I made this declaration and told the BJP, "BJP ki Manipur mein apne Bharat Mata ki hatya ki hai."Gandhi stated that despite being in politics for 19 years, "he had never experienced what he saw in Manipur" when discussing his trip to the violent state. There is blood, murder, and rape everywhere in Manipur. The PM spoke for 2 hours and 13 minutes in Parliament, but he spoke on Manipur only for 2 minutes. He (Modi) and his cabinet ministers laughed, joked, and smiled; „They had a lot of fun", Gandhi added, referring to the PM’s speech on Thursday after the no-confidence motion moved by the Opposition.

Someone’s home was set on fire, their sister was violated, and their brother and parents wurden killed. Manipur looks as though someone threw petrol at it and lit it on fire.
